BATH COME OUT ON TOP IN BIG KIT CHALLENGE
Congratulations to Bath Rugby on winning the LV= SOS Big Kit Challenge. Bath won the challenge after collecting a superb 378 kgs worth of kit, which will help give 378 more young people the chance to participate in sporting activities.
The clubs fans now get the chance to nominate a local school or club to receive a full set of rugby kit. Thanks to Bath rugby and all their fans who contributed.
The Big Kit Challenge was introduced to get the clubs taking part in the LV= Cup to compete against each other to collect the most kit. Kit was collected up until the weekend of 4 February, where it was weighed and the winner was announced on www.facebook.com/lvsoskitaid.
Jez Curwin, Marketing and Communications Director of Bath Rugby, said “LV= SOS Kit Aid is such a fantastic initiative and a worthy cause, as a Club we are more than happy to be involved. We’d just like to say a big thank you once again to our supporters who have given their old kit so generously.”
A huge thank you also goes to London Wasps, Sale, Scarlets and Worcester for their contribution to the Big Kit Challenge. The clubs and their fans efforts will help to make a difference in young people's lives.
All kit collected will be donated to LV= SOS Kit Aid where the kit will be sent to disadvantaged children in the UK and overseas and help make a positive and tangible impact on young people's lives by giving children of all abilities and backgrounds the chance to participate in sporting activities.
