ALDWINIANS RFC SET TO TAKE ON WORLD RECORD CHALLENGE

Aldiwnians RFC have set 7 May 2012 as the day to set a new Guinness World Record.

This season is Aldwininians 75th anniversary and to celebrate, they have set themselves the target of collecting the largest amount of rugby shirts ever and will donate the final amount of kit to LV= SOS Kit Aid, whilst also ensuring they get into the Guinness Book of World Records.

The rugby club, based in Audenshaw, Manchester, is aiming to fill their entire 1st XV pitch with rugby shirts
and it is estimated that it will take 15,000 - 20,000 rugby shirts to achieve this.

The whole local community will be asked to get involved in the challenge and it will be a fun family day full
of entertainment.
