Suggestions on how to run an LV=SOS Kit Aid Day

An LV= SOS Kit Aid day simply involves organising a collection of surplus, unwanted, quality, CLEAN rugby and cricket kit in your school, club or local community.

Before the Day:

  • Decide on a date for your LV= SOS Kit Aid Collection Day in liaison with your Sports department.
  • Make out a timetable and plan of action to get your school or club fully involved with LV= SOS Kit Aid.
  • Tell everyone what LV= SOS Kit Aid is, what it is trying to achieve, when it is happening, where the collection will be and what you would like them to do. You might like to use posters or make an assembly announcement.
  • Contact your closest regional director so they can arrange to collect the kit – you will find their details under "The Regions" on this website.

Collecting the kit:

  • Be clear on what kit you want (see kit list).
  • Arrange collection in an accessible place at your school or club.

On the Day:

  • Make sure the collection bins are well signposted.
  • Take photos for the school magazine, local press and LV= SOS Kit Aid website wherever possible.

If you have any questions, please contact us on 020 7821 2818 or email contact@lvsoskitaid.com

Thank you on behalf of LV= SOS Kit Aid and all the youngsters whose lives you are improving as a result of your efforts.

Good Luck!
