SOS Kit Aid

SOS 100th delivery to Swaziland

SOS IRB Kit Aid first started supplying emerging rugby nations with quality rugby kit in 2001. Now 7 years later and £1.5 million pounds worth of kit delivered, SOS proudly announces its 100th delivery to SWAZILAND in Southern Africa

This is the first time since the project started that we have delivered outside of Eastern Europe. All thanks to sponsorship from South African Airways and the International Rugby Board, Dublin (who have supported/funded SOS right from the very begining!)

Swaziland Rugby Union President Michael Collinson was delighted to receive the kit and its arrival was filmed on the IRB’s Total Rugby Programme – to be screened later. He said “a huge thank you to all at SOS. We cannot believe we have received such kit. Tomorrow we are dispensing the kit to poorer families – you will not believe their reaction when they see this kit and realise it is free”

IRB Africa co-ordinator Cliffie Booysen was also on hand to see the kit arrive and plans are already afoot for the next kit delivery to be to South Africa in October. SOS hopes also to deliver to Kenya and Uganda before year end.
